Membership
- The editorial board will consist of a minimum of ten members.
- The editorial board will be divided into two sections: Associate Editors and International Advisory Board
- The composition of the editorial board will be as follows:
- One-third (1/3) of the membership must be social scientists
- One-third (1/3) of the membership must be medical and applied health researchers
- One-third (1/3) of the membership must be practitioners in the field of applied health
- Members will be invited by the Editor-in-Chief for a two-year renewable term.
- Members must hold a master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline, and must have published at least once in a peer-reviewed journal. In the absence of these qualifications, the member must be a recognized practitioner in the profession with proven record of engagement in promoting social health equity.
- Members may be from any educational or related institutions. However, to provide proper representation, the board will be composed of the following:
- One-third (1/3) of the membership must be from University of Santo Tomas
- One-third (1/3) of the membership must be from Universities/Institutions in Metro Manila
- One-third (1/3) of the membership must be from Provincial/International Universities/Institutions
- The Lead of the UST-RCSSED Social Health Studies RIG, will serve as an ex officio editor-in-chief of the journal.
- The managing editor will be appointed by the editor-in-chief of the journal.
